Wrox Branches Out in Germany and in Deutsch
I’m very excited about a new batch of Wrox books coming from Germany written natively in German. Thanks to Wrox being part of Wiley and Wiley’s global reach, Wrox now has an original presence in Germany. While we have (any will continue to have) many translastions of our books in many languages other than English, these are the first new Wrox books produced in languages other than English at least in the last 10 years. The Wrox group in Wiley Germany will also publish selected translations of our English books. Their first book on HTML5 game programming for mobile devices is available now so I’m going to go learn to read German to read my copy.
Here’s an announcement and invitation from our Wrox colleagues in Weinheim:
About the Author
I'm the Associate Publisher for Wrox. I work with all of our acquisitions staff who select the authors and topics for our books. Prior to this role, I was an acquisitions editor working mostly on ASP.NET, JavaScript, SharePoint, and a lot of other fun topics. I'm lucky to have worked with some of the best programmer authors in the business. My degrees are in Math (BA and MA) and Physics (BA) and in addition to this blog and my "day job" for Wrox, you'll find me helping as many readers as I can in the p2p.wrox.com forums.
